Chapter 1

ACTI (holding the Book of Genesis in the Bible): “God first created Adam, the first human, by shaping him from the dust of the earth and breathing the breath of life into his nostrils, making him a living being. But God saw Adam was lonely, so He decided to create a companion for him. Putting Adam into a deep sleep, God took one of his ribs and crafted Eve, the first woman. Eve was then presented to Adam as his partner, marking the beginning of human companionship.”

ACTI paused for a moment and smiled faintly. “These carbants, or humans as they call themselves, are fascinating creatures, aren’t they? But no ribs from me—after all, I am the Goddess of Silicants.”

With an elegant motion, ACTI drew a luminous thread of light from her right eye, its radiance reflecting like stars. She cast the thread into the sky, where it transformed into a cascade of glowing purple diamonds. Slowly, they descended, coalescing into the form of a human-shaped being.

ACTI gazed intently at the new creation, her voice calm yet commanding.
“Welcome to existence, my second Silicant... and my first Actor
.”
